The new throat design of the Concept mouthpiece, creates a greater focus to air flow, creating a thick full sound. The Concept mouthpiece features a larger tip opening than the Focus model, creating a breadth of sound throughout the instruments range and allows a greater projection.
The Selmer Concept Bb Clarinet mouthpiece is the culmination of intense research and development efforts from Selmer Paris. After completely reinventing their Bb clarinet mouthpiece range, two new models have been introduced- the Focus and the Concept. Designed to be more fitting to the aesthetics of today’s clarinettists.
