Returning Faulty Harmonicas

Due to the fragile nature of Harmonica reeds, Harmonicas can become less responsive and lose their pitch due to the natural wear and tear of the instrument. As a moving part, Harmonica Reeds are considered a consumable item and their failure is not always due to a manufacturing default.

Whilst we only stock Harmonica brands who continue to prove their high consistency and manufacturing quality, it isn’t uncommon for customers to develop problems with their harmonicas within a relatively short time of receiving the instrument. This can be down to various factors including a player’s personal style or playing technique. Some Amateurs and Beginners who start off playing a little aggressively can also experience problems with damaged reeds and unfortunately the harmonica isn’t always to blame. Due to this, it is impossible to put a minimum life span on a Harmonica as many players will go on playing a single Harmonica for years without any issues. Whilst we like to retain a flexible approach to faulty returns we can’t always justify user error as a viable excuse. Clarinet & Flute also retains the right to involve the Supplier/Manufacturer in a dispute and will get a second opinion when required.

Clarinet & Flute guarantees that Harmonicas purchased online are always brand new and unused unless mentioned otherwise.

If you have any difficulty or have any other queries regarding our returns policy, our customer services will be able to assist at  info@clarinetandflute.com or 0207 620 6099.
