A Fun, Colourful and Practical Flute for young starters!

 NUVO instruments are highly acclaimed by musical experts around the globe. Weighing around half the weight of a standard flute, and requiring no where near as much maintenance, the J Flute is a fantastic alternative for those looking to get into the flute. Whilst it's light and durable design clearly benefits young children, it can also be found to be useful for more serious musicians playing on the go or in the great outdoors.

 The new and improved J Flute 2.0 builds upon the last model to help enhance the learning process for young starters. The most noticeable change is the revolutionary new 'Donut' head joint. Compared to the more traditional 'J' style curved head joint, this allows the tone hole to keep inline with the keys. The knock on affect of this change is that the instrument is much better balanced, allowing for greater comfort and playing position, also making setting up the instrument much easier.

 There have been various further improvements aimed at comfort for younger players including adjustments in the spring tension, silicon key touches, key extensions for small hands as well as a smaller, more portable case. Another nice addition is the 'Firstnote' lip plate which can be swapped out from the standard lip plate. This whistle like attachment makes it easy to get a note out first time, allowing students to get straight into playing music.

 The J flute plays down to a low D, leaving of the Foot joint to help keep the weight down. Once a player has advanced to the point where they require the low notes, and a standard straight headjoint, these can be bough as part of the J Flute Upgrade Set.

 These already top notch instruments have been made all that more accessible and its a resounding thumbs up from where we are standing!
