Nuvo Clarineo

The Nuvo Clarineo is a perfect beginner instrument and especially great for smaller players due to its design. Unlike a standard Bb clarinet the Clarineo has a few less keys for the little fingers to play. As well as being smaller and more ergonomic the Nuvo Clarineo is also pitched in C (rather than Bb... This is only relevant when taking exams as the accompanying piano parts will need to be transposed!) The Clarineo can be used up to Grade 3 after this point an upgrade to a Bb clarinet will be needed... we recommend either the Buffet Prodige or Yamaha 255.

 The Nuvo Clarineo is perfect for any child looking to start an instrument as it is affordable and can be used when very young to get a feel for the instrument. It's almost indestructible manufacture allows the player to explore the clarinet without the worry that it will be easily damaged, moulded from a polymer the Clarineo is 100% waterproof and can be stored in its case in 1 piece.

 The Clarinet is provided with 1 synthetic reed, at some point you will need to get a replacement, when purchasing reeds for the Clarineo you can either purchase synthetic reeds or a more traditional cane reed in either case you are looking for Eb clarinet reeds. These are smaller than the standard Bb ones and are the only size that will fit the Clarineo.
