Florian Popa Ceramic Ligature Bb Clarinet

Florian Popa’s Ceramic Ligature for Bb clarinet is handmade from specially selected clay powder, gold mineral and silver. This revolutionary design concept from ClarSax Popa is the perfect combination of geometry and material to provide maximum acoustic benefit.

The ceramic ligature attaches to your mouthpiece with a simple twist and fix motion, cutting down on the amount of time it takes to set up. This friction fit allows for an even distribution of pressure on your mouthpiece, creating a fluidity between the reeds vibrations to your instrument.

Also great for the ecologically conscious as this ligature is an eco-friendly piece. Capable of dynamic flexibility and precision of articulation, this completely handmade ligature can be used in any musical setting to provide a secure attachment for your reed.
In comparison to the ebony ligatures in the range, this material is denser, which provides a heightened experience of tone, dynamics and articulations, whilst providing a unique aesthetic.

  • Handmade with selected clay powder, gold mineral and silver
  • Inside- enamelled finished with quartz powder
  • Outside- enamelled finished with silicon powder

  • Due to the one-piece design of this ligature, they are designed to fit individual mouthpiece brands. (Please contact us if you have a mouthpiece from different manufacturers listed so as to get the best fit).
