Vandoren B40 Lyre Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece - SPECIAL OFFER

Our Winter Sale includes a large array of products at great prices! These Accessories are new and unopened, a steal in time for Christmas. Limited in numbers, when they are gone, they are gone!

The B40 Lyre Bb Clarinet mouthpiece from Vandoren is a variation on the popular B40 mouthpiece. The main differences being the slightly smaller tip opening and a longer facing length. These contribute to creating a mouthpiece that works especially well in the upper register, perfectly blending sound production and tonal colour.

Capable of varied dynamic ranges, this flexible mouthpiece plays with great response across the range. Suitable for both solo and ensemble playing, giving you the tools to be able to blend with others whilst also having the scope to make your presence known.

Just like the B40, the B40 Lyre feels robust to play, whilst still retaining a rich, velvety, commanding tone. This model is recommended to be played with softer reeds in order to create a good quality sound (see Vandoren’s reed recommendations below).

Vandoren strive to create mouthpieces for every player and have developed over 35 different models for Bb clarinet. With so many models and variations on each model available in their range, there’s plenty to try and find the perfect fit for you!
