 The Vandoren 5RV Alto clarinet mouthpiece is a popular choice for many players with a medium tip opening and a medium facing, it is easy to control and doesn’t require too much air to get a great rounded tone. Usually when looking at compatible reeds for your mouthpiece, a narrow tip opening work best with a harder reed and a wider tip opening a softer one.
