The Selmer Focus Bb Clarinet mouthpiece is the culmination of intense research and development efforts from Selmer Paris. After completely reinventing their Bb clarinet mouthpiece range, two new models have been introduced- the Focus and the Concept. Designed to be more fitting to the aesthetics of today’s clarinettists.
As the name suggests, the Focus mouthpiece focuses the air flow through the new throat design, which creates a thicker, fuller sound, expanding the tonal colours available. The Focus mouthpiece features the smaller tip opening of the two models, which in turn improves control and provides a flexibility throughout the entire range.
This hand finished mouthpiece brings together Selmer’s quality with excellence of tradition and innovation to form a mouthpiece that will work for many players.
