Vandoren B46 Bass Clarinet mouthpiece has one of the widest tip openings in Vandoren’s range. This mouthpiece is capable of producing a powerful sound unlike any of their other models. Often a favourite of Jazz and contemporary clarinettists, the B46 is also very versatile and can work in so many different settings.

Playing with a strong clean, full sound, the B46 bass has the ability to give bright and dark tones. With the right reed choice, you are able to get impressive projection and response from this piece. Between a 2-3 would be a good choice! (See Vandoren’s reed recommendations below).
