Walter Grabner's CXZ K14 is a free blowing mouthpiece, great for classical musicians and doublers, or an excellent choice for anyone who plays jazz, klezmer or any popular styles of music. With a fairly open tip opening, lip slurs and glisses are freely achieved.
The CXZ K14 has a broad, singing, multifaceted sound capable of showing different personalities. With a vast projection, the mouthpiece has been designed to work with different strength reeds in different settings to tailor the tone. A size 3 or softer allows for a loud and brassy sound, with the ability to soar above other players; with a size 3½ the resistance is perfect for classical and symphonic playing. The CXZ K14 is shaped for a comfortable playing experience, especially for doublers, the embouchure friendly facing means you could play all night.
